Tastings:

Tower Club Members enjoy a complimentary tasting flight at our tasting bar per club shipment for you and (up to) 3 guests. Complimentary wine tastings are a part of the Tower Club Loyalty Program.

Q: I have had 2 Club shipments and never tasted at the tasting bar, does that mean I receive 2 complimentary tastings?
A: Yes. We internally track how many times you redeem tastings, if you are unsure simply ask. If you do not have any complimentary tastings on your account we will charge your club card on file the next business day.

General Club Policies:

Membership: The Tower Club is a continuous membership and need not be renewed; it may be cancelled with 14 days’ notice prior to a release. We have 4 shipments per calendar year. A few weeks prior to the shipping date, we will send you an email with the list of wines and any critical information.  If you’d prefer a phone call, please call or email us to arrange this option.

Q:How do I make changes to my wine club account?

Adjustments can be made on your Club Account, via email, or phone (541-942-9874) up for 14 days prior to release. This includes changing the shipping address, Billing information, membership status or requesting additional wine. (Membership cannot be cancelled with less than 14 days’ advance notice.)

Q: Where do I pick up my Club Release? 

A: It will be held for you at the Tasting Bar in the Restaurant. Pick-up will start on the day of the release and will remain available for three weeks. After that we will ship your wine and your credit card will be charged unless other arrangements have been made. You are welcome to pick up your wine at any time during our Restaurant business hours (11 a.m. to 8 p.m. except Mondays and Tuesdays in winter, when we close at 4 p.m.). Weekdays are best.

Payment: Credit cards will be automatically charged before we ship, we do send a ship notification email informing you of an incoming shipment.

Wine Holds: A Club member in good standing may place up to (1) one hold during the calendar year, during which, all Club benefits (discounts, tastings, loyalty $) will also be suspended. Any holds longer than 1 shipment will be subject to an automatic $99 cancellation fee.

Q: I had to place a hold on my club shipment, can I still attend the release event?
A: Of course, you will simply have to pay the full price of the event ticket.

Cancellations: All cancellations must be submitted 2-weeks before the next scheduled shipment. There is a $99 cancellation fee if you decide to cancel within 12 months of your initial sign-up date. All cash-back rewards are forfeited upon cancellation.

 

Gift memberships are available and are valid for one year. At that point, the gift may be extended or the member may renew simply by providing their own credit card information.

Q: I gifted a membership to a friend of mine, who will receives the Cash Back reward? 

A: Cash back rewards are tied the master account so as long as any incremental purchase that they decide to make will reflect on their account and not yours.

Email Communication: Our preferred means of communication with our club members is through email, so please make sure to add (towerclub@kingestate.com) to your email address book.

Club Re-Orders: guaranteed at release price 30-days after release date, pending availability.

Shipping (Club):

Club Members enjoy a 15.00 flat rate shipping option with their Club release.

The 30-day Ship Policy:   All club wine releases will be shipped to members 30-days after the initial club release regardless if you have “pick-up” or “ship” preference. If you have made prior arrangements with staff on your order and we still have a shipment through the next release it will be shipped to your club address at your expense.

ORDER PROCESSING.
All orders will be processed as quickly as possible. Please allow 2 business days to process your order before shipping. Orders placed after 12:00 pm PST are processed the following business day. If your order needs to arrive by a certain date, please contact us directly.

To secure your request, we will charge your credit card at the time the order is received.

Most states now require the collection and remittance of sales tax. Your state sales tax will be collected at the time of purchase and reflected in the total amount charged to your credit card.

All Orders are shipped Monday thru Friday, expect major Holidays. Shipments are sent using FedEx Home Ground service, unless expedited shipping is requested. Upon request, your package can be shipped via UPS or directly to a UPS Store. Alaska & Hawaii are shipped 2-day Air Service.

SHIPPING INFORMATION.
All packages containing alcohol must be signed for, upon delivery, by an adult (21 years of age or older). The carrier requires verification of age at the time of delivery.

We cannot deliver wine to P. O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Please provide a physical address where an adult signature can be obtained. To facilitate delivery of your purchase, we highly recommend delivery to a Business Address or for the package to be held at your local FedEx store for pick up.

The carrier will make three attempts to deliver at the address provided. The package will then be held for pickup at your local FedEx store for 5 business days before being returned to King Estate Winery. King Estate is not responsible for additional shipping charges incurred.

King Estate is compliant with individual US state laws and currently direct ships off-site orders only to consumers in the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin & Wyoming. The laws regarding the direct shipment of wines are constantly changing. For more information and the most up to date analysis of direct shipping laws by state, please visit www.wineinstitue.org.

In some instances, state and local laws regulate product availability and/or wine purchase limitations. Working within these laws may prevent our ability to fulfill your order requests.

REROUTES & REDIRECTS POLICY.
In the event that you are unable to receive your shipment at the shipping address provided, you can redirect your package to your nearest FedEx location for pick up. They will hold the package for you for 5 business days and there is no charge for this service. Should you need to redirect the package to a different address, there is a $15.00 redirect fee for each package for this service. To avoid additional shipping charges and delays in receiving your wine, it is highly recommended that you ship to a Business address for first attempt delivery. King Estate is not responsible for additional shipping charges incurred.

RETURNS POLICY.
Wine is a perishable product and as such cannot be returned.

AGE DISCLAIMER.
King Estate sells and ships wine only to persons over the age of 21 years old. When placing an order you must provide your date of birth, as well as certify that you are 21 years of age. By placing an order with Silverado Vineyards, you certify under penalty of perjury that you and the recipient of this shipment are at least 21 years of age.

Upon delivery of the order, the recipient will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. The willful misrepresentation of your age or the age of the recipient is a crime in most states. If you willfully misrepresent your age or the age of the recipient, we will cooperate with the authorities to prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.

Q: Can you store / hold my wine for me? 
A: Wine storage is not a benefit we currently have for Tower Club Members.

Q: What happens if my shipping address is incorrect? Or if I need the wine re-routed? Or if I miss delivery attempts?
A: It is always best to keep your shipping information current but if for some reason the address we have on file is incorrect and we have shipped the wine any shipping adjustments / forwards / holds / returns will be charged to your club account. If wine has to be returned to the winery the Club Member is responsible for full shipping fees associated and/or you can forfeit the wine.

Q: Does someone need to sign for my wine on arrival?

Yes. All packages containing alcohol must be accepted by an adult age 21 or older. FedEx will attempt three deliveries and will also provide a pick-up option. If signing poses a challenge for you, we recommend having your order shipped to a business or other address where an adult is present to sign.

Shipping (General Orders):

We ship wines 24-48 hours after the initial purchase if weather permits. We only ship wines if the destination temperature is within safe wine limits (34 – 73 degrees Fahrenheit), if temperatures are not within limits we will hold your wine at the winery, and send communication to you for next steps . During the summer months, due to the heat we will have a standard shipping rate of FED-EX 2-Day to ensure the integrity of the wine is met at all checkpoints.

Weekend  / Holiday Orders: Any orders placed over the weekend / Holiday will be processed the next business day.

Customizations:

The Tower Club supports custom preferences for our 6 and 12 Bottle Club Members before your credit card is charged. Once your credit card is charged, wine inventory is “locked-in” and it is very difficult and costly to create custom orders after the fact.

Q: Can I switch-out or swap some of the wines in my club shipment?
A: Yes. This is one of the benefits of the 6 and 12 Bottle club members.

Q: How do I customize my club shipment?
A: As soon as the Tower Club wines are released, you should receive an email notification. After reviewing the selection, if you decide to add or replace a particular bottle of wine, simply respond to the email  or give us a call directly outlining what you would like customized. Remember, timing is important for us to ensure wine is allocated correctly, so please have your customization preferences to us within 1 week of receiving your club release email or we cannot guarantee your shipment will be customized.
